Featured Performances

Bird Watch by InesS Circus (40 min)

Join a pair of enthusiastic birdwatchers as they dream of taking flight themselves. Their wildly imaginative attempts to soar lead to hilarious mishaps, physical comedy, and plenty of laughs.

A Potion for Emotion by It's Gonna Be Great Theatre (45 min)

When a monster creates a potion to eliminate emotions and stop conflict, things don't go according to plan. This original production from It's Gonna Be Great Theatre uses puppetry, music, dance, and physical comedy to celebrate empathy and understanding.

Wontanara: An Interactive West African Music & Dance Experience by Wontanara (40 min)

Travel to Guinea, West Africa through live drumming, energetic dance, songs, storytelling, and audience participation. Led by husband-and-wife team Mohamed and Marielle Duranteau, this joyful performance invites everyone to clap, sing, dance, and discover the traditions of West African culture.

Spelling Bee by Spontaneity Improv (45min)

Every show is completely unique! Watch eccentric competitors spell audience-suggested words before bringing them to life through hilarious improvised scenes and stories.

The Platypus Play by Villains Theatre (30 min)

A playful, family-friendly performance full of imagination and fun for young audiences.

Alfie's Wish by the Gale Force Theatre Young Company (40 min)

This adventurous story follows Alfie as they discover that courage doesn't mean never being afraid—it means facing your fears. After touring schools throughout the HRM this spring, we're excited to welcome this production to Kids Fringe.

With free admission, engaging performances, and activities for children of all ages, Kids Fringe is the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family.
