My First Heart Attack

Jane Kansas returns to the Halifax Fringe. She had a great debut a few years back, with My Funeral : the dry run. That was followed by My Dead Dad : stories from the front yard, two years ago.

She couldn’t make it last year because she was too busy having open heart surgery. Her heart attack ended up needing six hospital admissions and about 170 days in Dartmouth General and the QEII. Let her tell you all about it! In fact, just try and stop her. My First Heart Attack is billed as a comedy / horror because some really, really terrible things happened (just you wait until you hear about the Catheterization Lab) but those things are told with the usual Kansas humour. She’s not dead yet!
