Lakeview: a live read

Lakeview is a queer ensemble comedy about a group of friends whose annual lake house weekend has been cancelled the past few summers by you-know-what. When they reunite, largely unfamiliar with each other’s lives now-one of them has even gotten famous (well, indie famous)-there’s karaoke, barfing, fireworks (literal/metaphorical), and drinks on drinks.

In development from Tara Thorne and Nicole Steeves, the director-producer team behind the Telefilm Talent to Watch recipient Compulsus, this is your chance to listen to an early draft of a movie that doesn’t yet technically exist, as performed by some of your local faves, who definitely do.

This is a Canadian Actors’ Equity Association production under the Festival Policy.
